For over three decades, this venerable event has infused Franklin’s streets with holiday cheer, delighting both participants and spectators as they come together to celebrate the season and welcome Santa Claus to town. The parade serves as a homage to the charm and wonder that hallmark Franklin’s Main Street during the festive period. It showcases the historic beauty of downtown while celebrating the warmth, spirit, and togetherness that are the hallmarks of the community. In 2023, the Downtown Franklin Rotary proudly took the helm of this legacy event, committed to honoring and perpetuating this beloved tradition as a joyful expression of gratitude towards the community and the vibrant city of Franklin. Held annually on the first Saturday in December, following the City’s Christmas Tree lighting, the Franklin Christmas Parade invites everyone to join in a magical holiday experience.
