About Company Distilling at Thompson’s Station
In 2009, Tennessee had only three distilleries, but a movement was underway to change that. Company Distilling’s founders played a pivotal role in shaping the legislation that opened doors for distilleries across the state. Spearheaded by the Tennessee Distillers Guild and supported by state legislators, this initiative aimed to create equal opportunities within the industry. Founding partners Kris Tatum and Jeff Arnett, who served as President and Vice President of the Guild, proudly championed this effort, helping to lay the foundation for Tennessee’s thriving distilling landscape today.
